About this event
At Barbican Hall on 22 January 2027, Kirill Karabits conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and sitarist-composer Jasdeep Singh Degun in the world premiere of Sitar Concerto No. 2, alongside Prokofiev's Symphony No. 7 and music by Kara Karayev. Tickets from £19 including transaction fee. The next-local-midnight end is a technical fallback, not an advertised finish time. Illustrative archival photograph of the participating BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in 2025, not this concert (with Sakari Oramo and Augustin Hadelich).
